Our latest adidas jeans trainers artist spotlighted on #ArtonFire, is a young lady that goes by the name of dagmara_cielecka_art. One of Dagmara s many talents is transforming an ordinary sneaker into a true work of art! Her latest creation has her take a plain Converse Chuck Taylor All Star and covert it into one of the cleanest customs you will ever see! ÿþDan Freebairn, better known as KickPosters on IG, is an illustrator and graphic designer who does some pretty clean sneaker illustrations to create some amazing looking posters. From Jordans, to Yeezys to Air Max illustrations, the man does it all and he does it with finesse. Out latest #ArtonFire artist showcases one of KickPoster s latest creations, an illustrated poster of the recently released adidas EQT ADV Support.

Not to spoil a future post, but this was definitely one of the most underrated kicks of 2015. It s been a good long while since adidas Basketball made a signature shoe that s been memorable for good reasons (sorry, D-Rose) and the Lillard 1 earns kudos for being a stylish product that can work both on and off the court and for its friendly price point. Damian Lillard has built a huge off-court following thanks to his huge social media presence which includes #4BarFriday and his signature shoe that anyone adidas pod system can afford at launch. The D Lillard 2 has a lot to live up to. Primeknit and Boost is all the sneaker I need in this world, kid (at the moment). This is the promise of the adidas-Kanye partnership and we hope to see them improve upon this in the future.

I could do without the Kanye name so the price can drop a few bucks and be made in larger quantities if adidas shoes custom that s cool with you. When some brands say they want to bridge the gap between style and performance, it rings like hollow lip service. BRANDBLACK was created with that philosophy in mind. Their signature J. Crossover shoes have a high fashion look to them that you just don t see in a Nike or an adidas (Y-3 being the exception) product. Sometimes it takes a year or two for a design team and a signature athlete to really hit their stride, but the J. Crossover 3 has been the breakout model that will get people talking. Hell, it got us talking about it as you can see in RAC s video above& ÿþNike has history on their side.

Yeah, brands like adidas have been around longer and Under Armour is doing everything they can to move up the ladder, but for the past 40 adidas shoes grey something years, the swoosh has owned pop culture. Look back at the images and films that defined the 80s and 90s and more often than not, you will see Nike on the feet of your favorite celebrities and athletes and even yourself. Nostalgia is strong for Nike products and that s why they dominate the retro game like no other brand and it s also why we hate them when they screw up our classics. In 2015, Nike made a more concerned (or if you re totally cynical, put some) effort into making sure their most iconic silhouettes are as true to the original as possible.

Kanye played a big role in increasing adidas profile in 2015, but it was the Boost that kept them coming back for more (because you know, it s not like most people could buy even one pair of Yeezys let alone two). Years from now, sneakerheads will be talking about the amazing year adidas had with the Ultra Boosts and the Yeezys. Hopefully in that same time, Nike and every other sneaker brand in the world will continue to improve the lives of those who are unable by advancing the precedent set by the LeBron Soldier 8 Flyease. Boost changed the sneaker game, but maybe Flyease will change the world. Word to Matthew Walzer. ÿþKanye West is relevant. Take that statement however you want to take it he s a cultural treasure, an iconoclast, a walking controversy, an ego gone awry but when Kanye does anything, stans, haters and everyone in between are at the very least curious about him and want to see what he does next.

Come on, a year where Nike brought back the Air Force 1 in remastered form, the Neon Air Max 95, the Air Tech Challenge III, the Presto, the Zoom Hawk Flight and introduced us to the Nike Air Max Zero, the Flyknit Racer Multicolor 2.0, the Kobe 10, the Footscape Magista Flyknit and the LeBron 12 adidas terrex agravic Low was a bad year? Sure, dude& Meanwhile, Originals picked up where they left off in 2014 with hits like the ZX Flux XENO, the various Superstar initiatives with Pharrell including the ginormous Supercolor pack, a sequel to last year s amazing EQT collab with Pusha T and most recently, the NMD. They are no longer adidas secret weapon, they are the focus. Oh yeah, Kanye and his Yeezys (honestly, it s mostly the 350s because the 950s are irrelevant and the 750s were a product of Image first more than good ) were there.
